The rain poured down through the condensed clouds. The changing clouds and rain will break the constrained life, after stopping, step into a world full of virtual color. Absorb red, yellow, blue, purple... and even the blending of the colors, but always unable to restore the inherent image of the world itself. Like the beginning of everything, showing a fleeting colorful picture. This fascinating natural image attracts Pan Jian to think repeatedly about the meaning of "color" to "image", and his study of this seemingly short and infinite digestion of pure light has been transformed into a creative "medium". Through this medium, the otherwise common scenery of the forest is liberated from common sense and endowed with a series of imagination, holiness, glory or destruction related between emotion and emotion. At the moment, Pan Jian's work is no longer a footnote to the natural metaphor, but tries to seek the other side of the concept and metaphor. Starting with "Lightning Edge", the concept of "light color" is developed in a direct way from the scene of the work. Then to the "rainbow" as a medium to launch a new image exploration, "flash" (l 'eclair de la connaissance) became the decisive factor in Pan Jian's understanding.
In the woods he painted, the colors carve out the shape of light, making the flowing traces of the picture flutter like filaments, drawing the mark of nature. Full of paint painting pen incisively and vividly poured out the dream of the past, instantly soaked with memory. When looking back on the memory of the details, the color is still bright as new. Pigments in the stack of a new round of visual exploration, so that the focus of the eye never stops. Leaf shadow, branches, like wind like sand texture... continuous virtual color structure, in the "flash" change let the eyes look good. Like steam like memory, in the familiar shadow of the trees show a leisurely strangeness. The foggy, transparent and bright effects, together with the use of texture materials, forcibly frame the "nature" in an autonomous space: on the one hand, it responds to Pan Jian's thinking and judgment on the urban landscape, and on the other hand, it also reflects the artist's redefinition of "artificial nature". The patterning of the scenery constructs the thinking track left by the artist. In the background, the image is removed from the nature and generates the vast reverie field. The line of sight is from far to near, and the flat picture has a certain sense of depth. The fast and agile action track and pen meaning make the pattern sense begin to dissolve, and the color becomes the emotional essence of stirring the inherent image. Let the claustrobe of the deep forest; the joy of the forest; the sadness of the falling wood; the stubbornness of the wind and the grass... when the viewer carefully approaches the images of the sword, you can feel the source of the "rainbow" of the medium.
